Banyan Tree Phuket

Banyan Tree Phuket is actually the original and first Banyan Tree property. With a spa, a full golf course, pools, and 4 restaurants it’s a sprawling compound that has everything you could possibly be looking for.

They’re especially known for their pool villas though which come in a wide variety of styles from traditional Thai to contemporary. It’s definitely a place that I will dream about staying again until I can make it back to Thailand.

Sumet Nangshe

Sumet Nangshe is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Thailand in my humble opinion. You’ll see a series of small islands and limestone cliffs that tower above lush mangrove forests and fishing waters.

It was a little rainy the day I went but it was still breathtakingly beautiful. I can only imagine how much more stunning it would be during sunrise with good weather. I would definitely come back just to see this sight!

Hong Island

Hong Island is a beautiful day trip that’s less than an hour boat ride away. The boat ride there is amazing in iteself.

Once you get to Hong Island you’ll get to explore the beautiful limestone caves that make up the area.

We got to go kayaking and it was amazing being able to see the limestone caves up close. You do have a guide that does the kayaking for you so you can enjoy the scenery while they expertly navigate the waters and the caves. They’re also the expert at the best routes to take so you can see the most impressive cliffs!

Coral Island is a must see while in Phuket. You can take a short boat ride there in as little as 15-30 minutes and the boat ride there is an experience in itself.

The waters are also great for snorkeling and of course sipping some champagne while you enjoy the sunset.

Once you arrive at Coral Island you can enjoy one of the most famous white sand beaches and most beautiful coral reefs. It’s exceptionally great for any sort of water sport or just relaxing along the beautiful shores.

Plus it’s close proximity to Phuket means you can easily be back at your hotel or resort in no time.

Taking a walk along the well known Thalang Road in Phuket Old Town is an absolute must!

The street is lined with hundreds of vendors in addition the restaurants and shops that are normally found in the area.

It’s really a great way to experience a night market as the streets fill up with both locals and tourists looking for some delicious foods to eat.

I recommend going with a group of people so you can split everything and try out more items!

Toh Daeng restaurant is located in side Baan Ar Jor Museum, a grand mansion that was built in 1936.

Today Baan Ar Jor is a working farm and museum, plus a restaurant that serves traditional Thai dishes. In fact Toh Daeng has even been recognized by the Michelin Guide with a Michelin Bib Gourmand, so it’s definitely a must visit and one of the most memorable meals I had while in Thailand.

If all that wasn’t enough they’re also a not for profit organization that donates the proceeds towards underprivileged children in the community!

Kan Eang 2 Restaurant Phuket

Kan Eang @Pier restaurant is a real treat to eat at. It’s located right along the shores of Chalong Bay so you’ll have phenomenal views while you enjoy your meal.

It’s also one of the oldest restaurants in Phuket being open for over 49 years now. Their specialty is seafood here and they serve a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes.
