Things to Do in The Laurentians Ultimate Itinerary
Where to Stay The Laurentians
Camping du Domaine Lausanne

Your ultimate outdoor getaway and guide! Camping du Domaine Lausanne is completely surrounded by natural beauty and has the most interesting accommodations. With a lake, river, mountain, and forests it felt like I was in a secluded little spot.
There are many styles of camping here but we were lucky enough to stay in one of the floating cabins. They sleep 4 inside and come equipped with electricity, mini fridge, coffee maker and filters, and a kettle. The best part was definitely the outside deck. It sits directly on the water and gives you the best view of the lake, mountains, and trees.

There’s plenty of outdoor activities as well. Hiking, mountain biking, surfing, fishing, swimming, and kayaking are just some of the activities you can do here. I have to say that I most enjoyed just sitting by the campfire and roasting marshmallows outside the cabin.
Les Toits du Monde
Les Toits du Monde, which translates to “the roofs of the world”, is where to stay for a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Owners Dior and Sylvain left their careers in Engineering because they wanted to pursue their dreams of living in serenity and nature. They built their first structure, the treehouse, in 2012 and Les Toits du Monde was born. No cookie cutter hotels or Airbnb here. Instead, what you will find are whimsical accommodations like an authentic Mongolian yurt, tipi, hobbit house, and two treehouses. In addition, they’re also all made with local, renewable, and ecological materials. Being unique and environmentally friendly makes this a must-stay spot for all these reasons.

Open all year round Les Toits du Monde offers kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and so much more. Because we opted for hiking by Rocher Copitane we were rewarded with beautiful views and a rosé picnic with snacks and wine.

What to Do – Things to Do in The Laurentians : Ultimate Itinerary
Mont Tremblant Village
Take a stroll through the pedestrian Mont Tremblant Village and enjoy the scenery. Mont Tremblant is covered with colourful buildings, restaurants, cafés, and shops. Because of this, Mont Tremblant Village is reminiscent of the ski resort villages found in Europe.
We had a delicious meal at the Hotel Mont-Tremblant and it was the perfect fuel up before heaving out for more outdoor adventures and nature.

Electric Scooter Adventure with Geo-Explore

I have to admit I was really nervous about this one because it was my first time riding an electric scooter. It ending up being a really fun experience though. Geo-Explora provided us a lesson on riding the scooters, and it was super easy in case you were wondering. We were now on our way. Working as a team Geo-Explora provided us with a GPS enabled tablet and instructions. The whole idea is that you solve puzzles and answer quiz questions and upon a correct answer you get directions to your next spot. It’s a fun way to do a self-guided tour of Mont Tremblant while learning about the town and taking in the sights.
