All-Inclusive resorts have got a bad rep. Most associate them with their younger years spent staying out all night and taking advantage of the budget friendly price tag that often reflects the let’s say budget friendly food, beverage, and accommodations offerings. Not here though. Sandals Montego Bay Restaurants have the best food.
Sandals is leading the front on changing what it truly means to be all-inclusive without having to compromise. They invited me to experience their 5 Star Global Gourmet Program which provides their guests with a true food lover’s paradise coupled with nothing but the most beautiful locations and accommodations.
A Luxurious Getaway from Start to End – Exclusive Airport Sandals Lounge Access + Airport Transportation Transfers

Right when you land Sangster International Airport you’ll be whisked away to Sandals exclusive airport lounge while you can wait comfortably for the rest of your group and airport transfer to arrive. The lounge is fully stocked with coffee, tea, water, juice, and Jamaican favourites like Red Stripe beer and banana chips. Once your transport arrives you’ll get to the resort in style in your own personal BMW sedan (available to those staying in Club Elite or Butler category rooms).
Oceanfront Penthouse Club Level Junior Suite with Balcony and Tranquility Soaking Tub

Of course, my favourite part of the room was the balcony with the ocean view. The tranquility soaking tub is also located on the balcony and a privacy screen is also provided so you can enjoy without worrying about prying eyes. It felt like having my own personal in-room spa with the best view.

A True All-Inclusive Experience
At Sandals though, all-inclusive truly means all-inclusive whether it comes to activities or eating at one of the countless options available to you.
Stay at One Play at All
Taking their all-inclusive lifestyle seriously Sandals has a “Stay at One Play at All” policy. That means that if you stay at one Sandals resort you have access to all amenities, activities, and restaurants available at all Sandals Resort locations. In Jamaica that is a total of 6 different resorts you have access to. If you’re staying at the Montego Bay location you will also have access to a free shuttle service so you can enjoy your time at 3 locations.
What to Do
What makes Sandals resorts particularly favourable is their location directly on the most beautiful beaches Jamaica has to offer. Yes, not all beaches are created equal but Sandals Montego Bay has a full on stretch of white sand and the bluest and purest of waters. To be honest, there are so many activities there is basically no reason to leave the resort and all are included with the exception of off-shore tours and spa treatments.

5 Star Global Gourmet Program
I have to say I was pretty surprised at what greeted me at the Sandals Montego Bay Restaurants when it came to food. Sandals has implemented a company wide 5 Star Global Gourmet Program. That means that the tastes of the world are available throughout the resort, each one expertly prepared by chefs specializing in preparing only the must authentic and flavourful cuisines. Yup, expect a Japanese chef at the Japanese restaurant and a Thai Chef at the Thai one. Authentic.
In keeping with the all-inclusive theme even the premium spirits like Appleton Estate Rum, Crown Royal, Contineau and much more are already included. There is an optional Manager’s Wine List for ultra premium wines for an additional fee, however with six different Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks wines available as their house wine (at no additional cost), there is hardly any reason to go beyond what is already included. Their premium beverage offering even extends to their coffee. On-site they offer Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, highly regarded as some of the best coffee in the world which I can definitely attest to. It is absolutely silky smooth and I was so addicted I just had to purchase a bag of the beans for me to enjoy back home.

What to Eat
There is no shortage of places to eat at when it comes to Sandals Montego Bay. And you don’t have to eat buffett unless you want to! The Montego Bay location alone has 12 different restaurants, 6 bars and lounges, and each one is completely modern and beautifully designed without being pretentious.
With Sandals’ “Stay at One, Play at All” policy though that means you can dine and drink at the restaurants and bars located at their other Jamaican locations which gives you 23 different restaurant options to choose from just in Montego Bay alone. And unlike some all-inclusives every restaurant, bar, and lounge is available to every single guest. There are no additional costs for certain restaurants, wrist bands to wear, or meal cards to keep track of. Below are just some of the places you can indulge in!
