Rayavadee Resort is the place to stay in Krabi Thailand. What makes it especially unique is that it sits right along the Phranang Peninsula inside Krabi Marine National Park. It’s not everyday you get to stay right in a national park. In fact, there is only 2 resorts with access to the national park and Rayavadee Resort is one of them.

Plus if you’re looking for a getaway that’s truly secluded and where you’ll be surrounded by lush forests and some of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia then you’ll find no better than Rayavadee. To get there you’ll take a 20 minute boat ride off Rayavadee’s private pier to take you to this secluded paradise.

I was lucky to stay in a two bedroom villa that came with it’s own private pool. Even though Rayavadee is located right by some of the most beautiful beaches it was nice to have my own private outdoor area and pool to unwind.

Inside the villas they do an incredible job with the design by managing to blend the indoors with the outdoors seamlessly, all while offering you modern day amenities to make your stay comfortable and luxurious.

With that being said, obviously the access to the beautiful beaches and proximity to the national park is a huge draw of this resort.

While Rayavadee has 4 different restaurants The Grotto is definitely the crown jewel. It is iconic in Thailand because it sits amongst the limestone caves where you’ll be treated to incredible views of the cliffs and the water.

The food at the restaurants is also excellent. They have a wide variety of dishes with a menu that features both local Thai cuisine as well as international offerings. You’d definitely be able to find something that satisfies every craving.

Overall

If you want to enjoy the best of what Thailand has to offer in terms of natural beauty than Rayavadee Resort should definitely be at the top of your list.

Not only do you have direct access to two gorgeous beaches, a national park, lush greenery, and the limestone cliffs but the resort offers additional activities and excursions so you can fully maximize your time here.

It’s definitely the ultimate spot if you just want to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of life, and enjoy the best of what mother nature offers.

Trust me when I say you’ll want to spend a minimum for 3-5 days here. Even more if you’re lucky!
